It's my birthday!

Hi Everyone! It's my birthday today!!! I am 1 year old with 40 years of experience!! Ha! I have so much to post about, but no time to do it! I can't believe how busy I've been, but how much fun I've had being busy!!
Lots of pictures, a gift from a sweet friend, skirts I've made for the girls, a sampler quilt that I took a class on, kids on the first day of school, etc! I'm such a happy girl today!

Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness...

O.k. I've got to get it out! My son did the most horrible, no good, terrible, very bad thing!! I just don't know why he would follow through with such a thing!! I'm absolutely horrified!! I don't even want to tell anyone about it, but here I am...telling you ALL about it. I can't keep it a secret! I just can't! I tried, but I could only last a day...
Soooooo, here's what happened...

Joseph took an empty McDonald's cup and peed in it and then offered it to his little sister. She of course thought that her older brother was being so cool to offer her some of his wonderful soda and took a big swig of it!! That's right people! My daughter drank pee! OH. MY. GOSH! She drank PEE!!!!! I thought I was gonna die!! (She DID spit it out really quick)

Now here's another bad part. I spanked him. And his sister Emma, cuz she knew it was in there and she let her sister drink it. And then...and then...well, this is the part I'm a little ashamed of. He didn't look repentant AT ALL, and it made me so upset...so I, um...made him take a drink of it too. (Yeah, he spit it out right quick) But still, I can't believe I told him to take a drink.

I really don't think he'll be doing this again. But still, I feel really bad for telling him to take a drink. (I'm actually surprised that he did it, I didn't expect him to. I wasn't even yelling...) Oh my gosh! I think I have a Dennis the Menace here. I am the WORST mother in the whole world!
