Kaidan
Wade

Chase
Beth
McKenna
Laura

Tanner

Wow! I think that I did it! This is a picture of the whole family taken on the grounds of the Las Vegas Temple. Can you believe I actually found matching outfits for everyone? I believe, without the photo in front of me that it is Beth, Wade, Tanner, McKenna, and Laura in the top row. Chase and Kaidan in the next, and then Me, Emma, Brynleigh, Kelvin and Joseph.

Hmmm...

Well, I figured out how to get the picture on the blog, but how do I enlarge it. This is the most confusing thing to me. It's driving me insane. And I just know that it's probably really easy and I'm the only one who's a lame-o. I'm gonna go upstairs to the other computer where's there's a lot more photos and try again. By the way, the picture is of my son Wade on the day that he left for the Navy and of my daughter Beth who is his best friend. Mucho tears shed on that day. I miss him so much!

Something Funny...Yeah!!!!!

So... I was on the phone with my twin sister Yvonne and watching "Batman Returns" at the same time and the part where the evil mugger came and killed Bruce's parents came. Of course in my hormonal state, I start bawling. Not just the little sniffles, just serious sobbing. Yvonne is saying "What? What are you watching?" I'm just blubbering like an idiot and telling her what I'm watching. She starts laughing! (Huh? What's up with that? I'm hysterical here! This said in a totally betrayed voice) She says,"Julie, that is sooooo funny! (Huh? No it's not!) "I was watching the same movie after my hysterectomy and blubbering at the same part!!" (O.K. well, that IS kind of funny) But I couldn't stop myself from carrying on for a little bit longer. It was just too sad. (But it makes me smile to think of that story! Gotta share the happy moments!! Hee! Hee!

Yup! It's another day...

Well, I did 2 things on my list. Nope, it wasn't the really easy one where I get up before noon. (I know, that was the easiest one to do. I got up at 12:18 p.m.) But I did get up and get a shower. Kelvin took me out to lunch with my sister Becky. It was super yummy and didn't cost very much. And then I went to a scrapbook store and bought a couple of things that I love. We drove home and dropped my 14 year old off for football practice. (He is soooo loving this!) O.k, you'll be very proud of me now, because instead of buying pizza for the kids like I wanted to, I made dinner! Ta Da...!!!! I know! It's a blessed miracle, but I did it! And then...! Yup we had FHE! Ta Da...!!!! Oh my goodness! I can't believe it! Then came scripture study and Family prayer and we are still struggling with the getting everyone to bed! Is it just me or does everyone have this problem?
Lynn, thank you soooo much for leaving me comments. I just love you to death! You are such a comfort to me. You make me feel sooo much better about myself and the things that are going on. You are such a good person. Thank you.
So tomorrow is another day and I think that I'll do the rest of the things on my list that I didn't do today. Should be easy to do one of those things because I have a doctors' appointment at 9 in the morning. (Is that cheating? Who cares!) And because of that appointment I have a head start on a lot of things! Ta Da...!

Still here, kind of....

So, it's been two and a half weeks and I'm a little tired of being tired and achy. But, on the bright side, it is getting better! Still a little hormonal (o.k. a lot hormonal, cuz I'm pretty much cycling right now too!) I am having the hardest time with depression right now. I only felt this way right after having a couple of my kids. I don't want to do anything. But I hate staying in my room. And I hate coming out of it because the kids are fighting and I want to run away instead of deal with it. Aaaaaah! I hate this! I feel like such a loser!
One good thing is that I signed up to take an online class with Jessica Sprague for Photoshop CS3. Did that about 3 days ago and haven't gone downstairs to actually log in a do something about it! Maybe I need to write down a to do list and force myself to do it. I think that might be a little easier then just thinking to myself, "I should be doing this...."
Hmmmmm...my list will include 1.Get up before noon ( I know, that is so horrible. I have been sleeping in to escape the world.) 2.Clean some kitchen cupboards.(they were done recently but the kids really love to mess them up when I'm not down there all the time) 3. Start the photoshop class. 4.Take the kids to the park and get some pictures to upload on my blog. 5. Learn how to get the pictures on my blog. (Maybe that one should be Number 4.) 6. How about making dinner for once in forever! (Man would my kids think they'd gone to Heaven or what?) 7. Have Family Home Evening (Haven't done that in a while. Don't dwell on the loser part... don't dwell on the loser part...)
I'll let you know how everything goes tomorrow!

All Done!

Well...last Thursday I had surgery. They took the one thing on my body that meant the most. And I'm still here. And I'm O.k. (Although the one requirement for my doctor was that I'd come home) The surgery went well and I went home on Sat. Today is Monday and I'm hating to stay in bed. I think that my kids hate it too. I KNOW my husband hates it. And can we say HORMONAL? Yes, I am one great, big hormone! Thank heaven my sister told me that it evens out again or I'd think I was in serious trouble.(Well, my family would be in serious trouble) It was kind of cool to go in, go to sleep and wake with everything done. But I didn't like waking in complete pain. And not a big fan of morphine. Lortab is o.k., but morphine made me really dizzy and sick to my stomach. And I only had a couple of little pangs when I was the only one with no baby to take home after the surgery.
Kelvin is going to go to Illinois for Wade's bootcamp graduation on Thurs. Nope, not a clue what I'm gonna do. Pretty much flying by the seat of my pants on that one. He'll be gone for about 4 days. Becky, my sister is going to be helping to take kids and pick kids up from different places. My house will probably be a wreck which makes me a LOT hormonal. Gotta be o.k. with it. I hope that this won't change me in a bad way. I love to have fun and I don't want to lose that part of me.
Well, I'll talk when I'm a little better and lot more in a better mood! (My poor family...)

Has it been a month?!!!!

Wow! I know I haven't posted in a while, but I can't believe that it's been a month! I've been wanting to post for a while but I really think I'm boring everyone because I don't have cute pictures up on my blog! I can't remember how to do it and Wade is still in Bootcamp! Waaaaaaaa! Woe is me! Anyone gonna take pity on me and tell in a step by step on how to do it. Remember people, they say that every time you have a baby, you lose 10 percent of your brain cells! I have no idea how I'm even here and half way coherent! I've lost 100 percent of my brain cells!(Sometimes I feel it!)
So....want to know what I've been up to? Hmmm....it's summertime and I have 9 kids here. Not much time to post. I keep logging in to post but then I remember that I don't have pictures and I leave cuz there's nothing absolutely wonderful to post. I haven't done anything interesting at all.
Although next week I'm going in for that pesky hysterectomy. Yuck! I am so scared! I'm not really worried for myself. I'm worried that if something happens then my kids won't have their Mommy. I wouldn't want that for them. I want them to have me here for them. (Oh! And I'm a little worried about my bladder. We're attached, we get together every day, several times a day. I would hate to be separated.) So, unfortunately, I have to get the kind of hysterectomy that is like having a ceasarian. Yeah, my uterus is stuck to my scar tissue from my c-sections. Maaaaaaaan! Can you believe that?! That totally bites!!! I have to stay in the hospital for 3 days and there's no baby to distract me.(Anyone have one they want to give away. Since I won't be able to have any more of my own, I sure would love to help out and take one of yours if you don't mind. I need to have a newborn. They always get the Mommy urges going)
I've also started with a fairly new company called Heritage Makers. For all those who are wondering, it's a company that creates storybooks online. You import your photos into your own account with them and then you can use them along with some journaling to create your own storybook and publish it. It comes to you hardbound. I love them. And if you really like to create you can use their premium account and get over 30,000 embellishments to use on them. If you'd like to check it out a little bit you can go to my website and do so. www.heritagemakers.com/310654.
I really need to start sewing some more. I haven't finished my favorite quilt from Camille. Oh and I need to thank Janiel for the blog swap! She sent me a gift card for $5.00 to Bath and Body and a $10.00 gift card for Cold Stone. I've only been to Cold Stone once, but it's Summer and anything cold would be great at this point! And Bath and Body? Puh-lease, that one's a no-brainer! Who doesn't love Bath and Body?! (If you don't like it, you probably shouldn't tell me because I'd have to rethink our friendship. Absolutely un-American. Sheesh...)
Well...that all for now. It's about 1:15 a.m. and I'm tired. P.S. for those of you who missed me, thank you. You made me feel important! I love it!!! I'm loved! LOL
