I'm in Mourning...

O.K., so I tried to not be bothered by this, but I just can't do it! My 4 year old son has given my 2 year old daughter a haircut. (He will never be a cosmetologist) He cut all of her bangs off all the way to the back of her head, leaving only about 1/2 inch of a comb over part in the very front. And then he took sections of hair all over the rest of her head, but mostly on the right hand side. Look at her from the left side and she looks beautiful, but turn her to the right...well...scarecrow comes to mind. I've tried to use the long piece as a comb over ( you know, like those old guys who have a bald head and use a long piece of hair on the side that they comb over so know one knows they are bald? wink, wink...) I've tried it and it isn't working! And when I try to put her hair in a pony tail or two, the short hair pokes through every time!! I have to go into mourning...so those of you who commisserate with me, show me love here because I am soooooooo sad. I'm getting my camera back from my sister this weekend and I'll take a picture and post it. (After my son Wade shows me how to again.) I need to commemorate this terrible, horrible, no good, very bad HAIRCUT!!

Kids! They sure can make our life crazy somedays. There might be some tips out there from hairdressers on what to do. I know one mom who actually took the plunge and had all the rest of her daughter's hair cut really short to even it out. I'm talking REALLY short. Army hair. However, There was SO many cute things she could still do with her girl's hair. Hat's. Clips. Sparklies. It really was cute. And then of course, it all grew back rather quickly as it does on kids more.....but until then she still took advantage of some really cute short hair styles. Just a thought. So sorry.

I hope my girls don't try this. I have explained for a couple months now that Mommy cut her hair when she was little, and look how short Gma had to cut my hair. Lauryn says "Ewww.. that's ugly Mom!" And.. it was... at an inch short. I am so sorry this happened!! Good thing it grows back. Hey.. I want to see some pics of all your kids. I had no clue you had 10!!That is awesome!! I want tonz of babies, but I have crappy pregnancies.

Oh No! I am very sorry! That would be one thing I fear in the future! I have a friend who has a daughter that is 5 and she actually took a razor to the top of her head and totally bicked off a square in the middle of her head!
Some days are scary--you never know what will take place! Good luck. I can't wait to see the pictures!

You're kidding! I'm so sorry! Just remember, hair grows back, ears don't. It could have been worse. :-) Can't wait for the pictures!

I would be in mourning also for her hair! However, I would definately cut it so that it grew out evenly and put pretty sparklies, and headbands on
