Remember Urgent Care....?

So this picture is the reason poor Kelvin had to go back to Urgent Care that night at about 11:00 p.m. While we were gone with Bryn to Urgent Care, Laura (photo) dropped a plate on her toe while making herself a quesadilla. She called us and told us about it, but we couldn't do anything at the time. By the time we got home I thought that she would be fine. But it was swelling and looked pretty bad. This picture is from Monday. Looked much more swollen then. Wanna see my beautiful daughter? She loves photo sessions and sat through this one quite happy to show off her gorgeous face....

NOT!!!

The little stinker wouldn't turn around and look at me for photo!! So...I tricked her and got this one!!

Wait for it....

Wait for it....

O.k. here it is!!(She just informed me she was never speaking to me again, so if this photo disappears, you'll know why!)

That toe however....that is another story. OUCH!!! That looks gross! Poor girl!! I hope it heals quickly for her.

Okay Julia, maybe you and Kevin should become board members at your local Urgent care....you are there often enough. LOL!

Hey, Julia, I'm sorry to just now be getting back to you. I have not been a good blogger for a couple weeks. I hope your kids are doing okay.

Sorry, I said I was getting back to you and then I didn't answer your question. I must be half asleep. I don't mind if you link my quilting blog, and I'd love you to read my family blog, but I'm not sure about linking it. I've been contemplating making it private. I guess I'm paranoid that way. Anyway, and yes, I had read some Anne McCaffrey when I was younger -- just the first three -- Dragondrums, Dragonsong, Dragonsinger -- is that right? It has been a while, but I had wanted to reread them, and I know there are now tons more.
